  • How do I book?

 Choose your date, party number and theme, and message us to confirm availability. Once that is confirmed, we will send you a customised quote and confirm all the details.

  • What areas do you cover?

 We are based in Milton Keynes. We cover Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire and Northamptonshire and surrounding areas and offer free delivery within a 20-mile radius. A small charge outside of this radius will be applied. 

  • What is included? 

Hire tents, inflatable mattresses, duvets, bed linen, breakfast trays, decorative string lights, cushions, lanterns, and themed decorations. Package includes delivery, set-up, styling, next day take down, and collection. Custom themes can be discussed and where we can, we will create. All accessories need to be returned at the end of a party unless agreed. (Ballons, party/pamper bags, cups and extras purchased through us are yours to keep)
The hire cost is based on 24-hour hire. If you would like to hire for a longer period, please contact us.

  • Can I mix & match themes?

 Message us and let us know what you have in mind. If the tents are available, we can usually oblige. 

  • Are the teepees suitable for outside use? 

The teepees are for indoor use only and should not be taken outside. 

  • Payment

To secure a booking, we require a NON-REFUNDABLE BOOKING DEPOSIT of £25 for 1-3 teepees, £50 for 4-12 teepees which is credited to the total rental charge, the remaining balance is due one week before the event date. Any personalised items we source for you must be paid at the time of order. 

  • Cancellation Policy 

We require notice of cancellation no later than 72 hours before your hire. This will ensure a balance refund (deposit will be retained). If cancellation over 1 week, we will be happy to rearrange another suitable date. 

  • Allergies

 Our teepees are stored in a pet and smoke-free environment, we use only non-bio, hypoallergenic detergents and bedding is vacuum packed after laundering. Please advise at the time of booking of any relevant allergies. We are always happy to accommodate as best we can.

  • Space Required 

As a rule, if an adult can lay down in the space one teepee will fit. All beds are single adult size. The measurements are teepee and bed, 90cm wide by 160cm in length.

  • Set up/Pack down.

 Our set-up times are either mid-morning or mid-afternoon depending on the numbers booked for the party. The collection is after 11.00 am the following day. Should you have any specific requests or requirements please ask. We kindly ask that the space is clean and clear for our arrival to help ensure a quick and efficient set-up. We also ask that children are not present during this time for their own safety (and surprise element!)

  • Breakages

Accidents happen, we understand, but we do need rented items and equipment to be returned to us in good condition. Please advise us of any damage so that we can work with you to cover repair or replacement.

  • Insurance

We are a fully insured company; we have £1 million in Public Liability insurance.

Terms & Conditions

 

  1. Once you the hirer has paid the booking deposit for an event booking this constitutes a binding contract and acceptance of the terms and conditions.
  2. We regret we are unable to accept bookings from anyone under 18 years of age. 
  3. Teepee tents are not suitable for dogs or other animals. However, disabled assistance dogs (e.g., guide dogs, hearing dogs etc) are welcome by prior arrangement.

Hiring charges

  1. Provisional bookings will be held for 5 days before the deposit is due. 
  2. Bookings are confirmed once a booking deposit has been received. Deposit amount £25
  3. The booking deposit holds the date and ensures we will not book out to anyone else.
  4. The balance of hire payment is due 7 days before your event or by arrangement.
  5. The booking deposit will be deducted from the full hire price.
  6. Hire price includes delivery within the first 20 miles of MK13. Delivery outside of this radius will incur additional delivery charges £2 per mile. 
  7. We do everything possible to ensure set up and collection is at the agreed time however delays may occur due to sever traffic problems, road accidents or road closures. 
  8. Equipment and themes seen in photography may be subject to change. 

Delivery & Set up. 

  1. The hirer must be present at the location for set up and pack up of the equipment. 
  2. It is the responsibility of the hirer to ensure there is sufficient access and space for the tents. The hirer will be responsible for any movement of furniture for the indoor teepees.  Where there is insufficient room for the teepees ordered and delivered, we will erect the number of indoor teepees into the space available. The Great Little Teepee Company will not refund the difference in cost in these cases. 
  3. The Great Little Teepee Company will deliver, erect, and furnish your teepees to the agreed location on the first day of the commencement of your booking. 
  4. The set up and take down of the teepee tents should only be actioned by the The Great Little Teepee Company team. 

Damage of Equipment 

  1. Any damage to the equipment will result in charges for repair or replacement in part of fully. This includes stains to any soft furnishing’s cushions and teepees.
  2. The hirer is fully responsible for the maintenance and safe custody of the tents and equipment. The equipment must not leave the hirers property and cannot be rehired to another 3rd party during the duration of its use. The hirer must be satisfied with the equipment before use and should notify The Great Little Teepee Company of any miscounts, incorrect deliveries and unacceptable equipment before use. Failure to do so will be the responsibility of the client and NOT The Great Little Teepee Company
  3. The hirer is fully responsible for ensuring that contents of any party bags, pamper bags etc are suitable and age appropriate for ALL party guests. The hirer assumes responsibility for determining any allergies ahead of set up. 
  4. The hirer shall cover The Great Little Teepee Company against the full value of any loss, damage or excessive soiling however caused, unless caused by negligence by The Great Little Teepee Company. Therefore, if the security deposit is insufficient to cover the costs incurred to The Great Little Teepee Company, you must agree to pay all costs to rectify this. 
  5. The Great Little Teepee Company will not be responsible for any loss of air from the airbeds during the hire period. The airbeds will be fully inflated at the beginning of the hire, but due to factors such as temperature, amount of usage, length of hire, airbeds may lose air and deflate slightly. The Great Little Teepee Company will leave a pump on site to ‘top them up’ if required.

Cancellations & Refunds

  1. Booking dates can be changed up to 5 days before the original date and must be mutual between both parties.
  2. Bookings cancelled within 48 hours of the party will result the loss of your security deposit. 
  3. For bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the party 100% of the booking will be charged.

Health and Safety 

  1. The Great Little Teepee Company operate a STRICT NO SMOKING policy inside the tents. 
  2. Candles with flames are not permitted inside the tents. Battery operated candles will be provided. 
  3. The tents should not be climbed on, and sharp objects should not be used on the airbeds.
